Continued support from Internationale Solidariteit Stad Antwerpen brings the Kutulu First Aid Centre closer to becoming fully functional by 2027, with the goal of improving access to first aid and emergency support for Kutulu and more than twelve neighbouring communities.
We are delighted to announce another important milestone in the development of the Kutulu First Aid Centre. Internationale Solidariteit Stad Antwerpen has approved additional funding to support the next phase of the project, bringing us closer to our goal of making the centre functional by 2027.
This renewed support marks an important step forward in our ongoing efforts to bring essential first aid and emergency support closer to the people of Kutulu and surrounding communities.
Building on an Important Partnership
The Kutulu First Aid Centre project began with a clear vision: to improve access to first aid and essential emergency assistance for people in Kutulu and neighbouring communities.
With the initial funding provided through Internationale Solidariteit Stad Antwerpen, we were able to take the first steps towards turning this vision into reality. Since then, we have continued working towards developing a centre that can respond to an important community need.
The approval of additional funding by Internationale Solidariteit Stad Antwerpen represents a continuation of this support and will help us advance the next phase of the project.
We are grateful for the confidence placed in this initiative and the opportunity to continue working towards a facility that can make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
Reaching Beyond Kutulu
The impact of the Kutulu First Aid Centre is intended to extend beyond the immediate community. Once operational, the centre has the potential to serve people from more than twelve neighbouring communities, helping make first aid and emergency support more accessible to local families.
For communities where access to timely assistance can be challenging, a local first aid facility could provide an important source of support when emergencies arise.
Through this project, we aim to strengthen community preparedness, improve access to essential first aid services and contribute to the well-being of people across the region.
Preparing for the Next Phase of Development
The additional funding approved by Internationale Solidariteit Stad Antwerpen will support continued progress towards making the centre functional.
The next stages of the project include:
- Construction: Continuing the development of the Kutulu First Aid Centre.
- Medical and first aid equipment: Preparing the facility with the essential equipment needed to support first aid services.
- Solar power installation: Working towards a reliable power supply to support the centre’s operations.
- Volunteer preparation: Preparing volunteers to contribute to first aid assistance and community emergency support.
Each stage represents another step towards establishing a facility that can serve the community effectively and sustainably.
Our Sincere Appreciation to Internationale Solidariteit Stad Antwerpen
We extend our sincere gratitude to Internationale Solidariteit Stad Antwerpen for approving this additional funding and continuing to support the Kutulu First Aid Centre project.
The initial funding helped us begin this journey, and this additional support allows us to continue building on the progress already made. It reflects the importance of sustained commitment and cooperation in addressing community needs.
We recognise and appreciate the role of Internationale Solidariteit Stad Antwerpen in helping us move closer to our goal. We also thank everyone who has followed the project, encouraged our efforts and believed in the vision of bringing essential first aid support closer to the people of Kutulu and neighbouring communities.
Meaningful community development takes time, dedication and continued collaboration. Every milestone matters, and this latest development gives us renewed encouragement to keep moving forward.
Looking Ahead to 2027
Our goal is to make the Kutulu First Aid Centre functional by 2027. With the continued support of Internationale Solidariteit Stad Antwerpen, we are moving closer to that ambition.
There is still work to be done, but each step brings us closer to establishing a centre that can provide valuable first aid and emergency support to Kutulu and more than twelve neighbouring communities.
We remain committed to turning this vision into reality and building a lasting resource for the people who need it most.
One step at a time. One community at a time. One life at a time.
Together, with the continued support of Internationale Solidariteit Stad Antwerpen and the commitment of everyone involved, we are working towards a healthier, safer and better-prepared future for Kutulu and its neighbouring communities.
The journey continues, and 2027 is getting closer.
