Last Saturday, I had the privilege of attending FestiFood, organised by Lalucas -ASBL in collaboration with BMWF , Amuka, ABC and many other incredible organisations.
I have to say, I was truly impressed.
Every day, I see organisations working tirelessly to educate our community, promote healthier lifestyles, and ensure people have access to the right information.
One of my favorite parts of the event was the group discussions. Each group selected two representatives to present the key points from their conversations. Listening to the different perspectives was eye-opening. People openly shared the obstacles they face in the care sector , and together we explored possible solutions. It was honest, engaging, and inspiring.
These conversations matter. If we don’t talk about the issues affecting our communities, we cannot solve them. By creating spaces where people feel heard, organisations can better advocate for our communities, engage with policymakers, and work towards making people feel safer and better supported here in Belgium.
Congratulations to LaLucas and all the partners for such a successful initiative. It was informative, impactful, and well organized. I look forward to seeing more discussions like this in the future because real change begins with meaningful conversations.
