I know what it means to fight for your life and to fight for your voice. As a breast cancer survivor, I have walked through the fear, pain, and uncertainty of treatment. I have faced the quiet emotional battles that follow, the moments when it feels like no one truly understands the weight you carry. Those experiences didn’t break me; they shaped my purpose.

Growing up as a girl in an African community where daughters were often unseen, unheard, and undervalued, I learned early what it means to live in a world that doesn’t always give women the respect they deserve. I saw how stigma, stereotypes, and silence rob women of their dignity, especially those facing health challenges like cancer, depression, trauma, and other mental health struggles.

These are the truths that inspired me to create Behindmarygiftwalls Foundation, a safe space where women and girls are not only heard but celebrated, where they are equipped to rise above their circumstances and empowered to live as the best versions of themselves.

With my incredible team, we are breaking the barriers that keep women in the shadows. We offer emotional support to those navigating illness, advocate for mental health without shame, and challenge the narratives that have held women back for generations.
